Shaping the future of maritime UAS

Our mission

A team driven to support navies

In a world facing resource scarcity, climate change, and renewed maritime tensions, the sea has once again become a strategic domain.

DIODON Drone Technology exists to support those who operate in complex maritime environments. Our mission is to provide reliable, robust, and easy-to-deploy solutions that extend the reach and enhance the capabilities of navies and maritime professionals worldwide, from aerial systems to integrated architectures and tailored developments.

Guided by the values of defense, innovation, and commitment, we work every day to strengthen security, sovereignty, and maritime awareness, serving those who safeguard our oceans.

What we do

The air-to-sea interface

Maritime UAV Systems

We design and manufacture maritime UAV systems natively built for demanding environments, supporting ISR, SAR, training, inspection, and logistics missions.

Operational Integration

We bring proven hardware and software integration capabilities to connect aerial, surface, and command systems into unified, mission-ready architectures.

Tailored developments

We develop bespoke solutions to meet specific naval and maritime requirements, adapting our technologies to the unique needs of each mission.

Our story

From idea to operational systems

DIODON Drone Technology emerged in Toulouse, France, in 2017 from a bold idea: bringing aerial capabilities to places where none could go. What began as a student project at the leading French engineering school quickly became a focused engineering mission, designing systems not just built to withstand the sea, but shaped by it.

In close collaboration with special forces, navies, and first responders, we learned directly from the field, turning prototypes into the world’s first inflatable and fully waterproof UAVs. Continuous iteration and real-world feedback forged our identity and defined our approach: design, test, improve.

Today, DIODON brings together R&D, production, and integration under one roof, building mission-ready aerial systems and shaping the next generation of air-sea robotics.
